When I started blogging…twelve-ish years ago, a Meme was typically a random batch of questions you’d answer about yourself that made the rounds of blogs/journals/whathaveyou. Some were short…the Friday Five, anyone? Some were long…fifty to a hundred questions. Some were all about music or movies or books.
It wasn’t a viral picture with text slapped on it of some joke that three people find funny.
But that was a different time. When people blogged for the sake of WRITING. Nobody had a “BRAND.” And a sky-high number of page hits meant you were probably going to go over your monthly bandwidth allotment, not that you were going to be able to hold on to that corporate sponsorship a month longer with your contrived sponsored posts.
*sigh*
Blogging just isn’t what it used to be.

My great grandmother’s middle name was Sarah. (My sister protested the H.) My mom’s middle name is Ann. (Along with…half the women I’m related to.)

Ehh…it’s capable of looking nice if I write really slow. But most of the time it’s a mess.
