Someday I will have that. Someday when I figure out how to read php and I can add the custom field to my code myself. Or someday when I ask Bob to do it for me. *sigh* I miss Blogger. One piece of code, one page, DONE.

Of course there’s nothing stopping me from just adding the metatdata to the bottom of a given post manually myself. But what’s the fun in that? It’s much more fun to have cryptic titles that leave people thinking I’m just high every time I write something.

Well…

I don’t think it’s my post titles that leave people thinking I’m high.

But that’s neither here nor there.

WTF does metadata even mean?

Bob and I bought a GPS with some of our wedding gift money. We are two of the most navigationally challenged people ever, so we thought it would be a good investment. We named her Sheila. We bought her at Costco because they had a good deal going, and set it up in the car in the parking lot before we headed home yesterday. I wanted to tinker with the settings on the way home, but she wouldn’t let me because you’re not supposed to play with the GPS while driving! Whatever, Sheila. I was the passenger. I thought you were smart. <s>I could have turned off the safety feature but then I wouldn’t have anything to complain about.</s> Also, because our address is stupidly located, it thinks our house is in the middle of the main road and not on our actual street. The street our driveway actually connects to is just called “Road.” Our entire neighborhood still doesn’t exist on Google, so it’s really no surprise.

We’re going to test out Sheila’s mad navigational skillz tomorrow when we go to Lisa and Rob’s for their “Fish Fry” party…in Lonsdale. It’s supposed to be pretty easy to get to—mostly straight down I-35. But MNDOT got the bug up its ass to shut down part of I-94 AGAIN this weekend so we’re going to have to detour around Hwy100 to get to 35W again and I HATE taking Hwy100 just on principle because it causes me to drive right on by Pass the Buck Management™ and that always calls for traumatic flashbacks of nine years in hell and I don’t want that.

I’ll just have to drown myself in Cookie Salad.

Which I’ll be making for the party tomorrow. Mmmm…Cookie Salad…

In all our shopping yesterday, one of our main priorities was to stop at Walgreens to pick up my monthly stock of prescriptions. When we got home I realized, we forgot to stop at Walgreens. Dammit anyway. We need to hit up the grocery store today to pick up the stuff to make the cookie salad, so we’ll trek over to Walgreens today instead. Perhaps I should pick up some Ginkgo Biloba too.

—

All That I Am
Parachute

My habit of using song lyrics from whatever song I’m listening to when I title my post is kind of lost when I don’t have the metadata to tell what song I’m currently listening to on each post.
