Is Strattera<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n “But wait a minute…” You might be saying… “Didn’t we already try that one and it FAILED MISERABLY?”<\/p>\n Yes.<\/p>\n Yes we did.<\/p>\n And yes it did.<\/p>\n Dr. Meyers suggested another try at it. Despite the fact that I couldn’t tell I was taking it AT ALL<\/b> the first time I tried it, I’m trying it again.<\/p>\n Here’s why:<\/p>\n 1.) I was only on it for a month. Studies show that it takes at least six weeks to see results.<\/p>\n 2.) This was the last ADHD med I tried before we completely wiped out my entire drug regimen and started from scratch with everything after a two week “Wash Out.” I was in a very different place in my mental health treatments and it was time for a change.<\/p>\n 3.) This is a higher dose. I’ll take 40mg for one week and then step up to 80mg for a month or longer to see how it goes.<\/p>\n 4.) This is not an amphetamine and since I don’t seem to react properly to amphetamines, hey, bonus.<\/p>\n On the downside, it’s going to be at the very least another month before I might see any sort of results.<\/p>\n But we’ll see what happens I guess.
