When someone is burning a candle downstairs and they put it out at night, the smell of the smoldering wick makes it all the way into our bedroom. Never smell the candle while it’s burning, but when it’s extinguished…there it is. Like right now. And for the past ten minutes or so.<\/p>\n

People checking into Foursquare drive me batty. Let’s tell the world where you are at all times! More specifically, let’s tell the world where you’re NOT—like at HOME. So people know the perfect times to break into your house. If I had a phone with that capability, I still wouldn’t use that stupid application. I’d only ever be checking into my bedroom all the time and be ousted as the mayor. Then people would just think I’m nothing but a h0r. As it turns out, I just never leave the house. My life is just that exciting.<\/p>\n

I’m stirring on a new website pipe dream. We’ll see how it goes. It will take actual effort and preparation to pull off, so I’m not sure how it’s going to pan out with the current state of my brain—being completely useless and all. It would be putting to use one of my dormant domains, so here’s hoping I can muster up some bread dain cells and make them work for me. I need to get something<\/i> working for me here. Otherwise I might just have to fling myself off the roof.<\/p>\n

I have a lot of crap I need to get done right now. Things that are actually somewhat important even. This could pose a problem.<\/p>\n

I haven’t even touched my wedding thank you cards yet. I have given myself the deadline to get them done by Christmas. And everyone who gets a thank you card will also get a Christmas card. I’m designing the Christmas cards myself. But fuckitall if I’m printing the envelopes this time. NO MORE PRINTING ENVELOPES. It’s all address labels from here on out dammit. That printer hates me and I am not printing anymore gaddamn envelopes only to have it EAT THEM and give me the finger in the process.<\/p>\n

October is almost over. What the hell? Where is this year going? There’s just over a week left of this month and we’re in NOVEMBER. NOVEMBER! Then it’s Thanksgiving and it’s DECEMBER. AND CHRISTMAS! And then it’s JANUARY! And I need to get my ass moving on apartment shopping because we’ll need to give notice to vacate this place by the end of March so we’ll need to have something lined up and we’ll need to have options figured out and if I don’t start figuring this shit out now, I’LL FORGET UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE.<\/p>\n

Have I mentioned that Bob and I will finally be moving into our own place once our lease is up on this place in May? Because we will. And I cannot wait. But that’s a whole post in itself I’ve been meaning to compose. I just…keep forgetting about it.<\/p>\n
