Then something happened in December and I started dumping out words on a story at a rate I haven&#8217;t experienced in a <i>VERY<\/i> long time.  I couldn&#8217;t tell you the last story that saw that much progress in that short of a time period.  Thirty-thousand-some-odd words feels like a goddamn accomplishment on a good day.  But after the absolute trainwreck of the last year, it felt like a mother fucking lifetime achievement.<\/p>\n<p>January was far less productive on that particular story, but that was mostly because <b><i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.getalifebooks.com\/blog\/basil\/\" title=\"Fucking Basil...\">BASIL<\/a><\/b><\/i> came skulking around and started his <i><b>WHATIF<\/i><\/b>ing and&#8230;now there are multiple plotlines revolving around the same two characters and I&#8217;ve written over 50,000 words in two months so KEEP IT COMING YOU LITTLE BASTARD.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.getalifebooks.com\/media\/blog\/2020pics\/januarywords.png\" title=\"Fifty.
