On first listen, I only half registered the actual song because I was distracted by the overly dramatic inanity, but then I was jarred by a section that was unexpectedly familiar. Accidental? Just another every song sounds like Pachelbel’s Canon in D<\/a><\/b><\/i> situation?<\/p>\n Ross did write almost all of their songs when Panic!<\/i> was actually A BAND<\/i> instead of one dude still carrying the name around.<\/p>\n Whichever it is, we’re not going to go down that<\/i> rabbit hole and all its implications.<\/p>\n Maybe I just have Capetown<\/i> on the brain<\/a><\/b> a lot lately. Parts of that song<\/i> sound a lot like Be My Baby<\/a><\/i><\/b> by The Ronnettes<\/i>. Then again, that whole album<\/a><\/b> is meant to sound fifty years older than it really is.
