Back to what we had…

The fixation continues.

I am far too easily amused by watching my Last.fm top ten shift around. Or rather, at this point, it’s the top four and there are 28 plays standing between numbers three and four. That’s just one master playlist worth of listening for the upset.

I’m tempted to listen to some Train specifically to keep them in the lead, but the obsessive whack job easily fascinated part of my mushy brain will probably press play once again on the Andy Grammer playlist just because.

It’s fitting though, because Train is currently on tour and Andy Grammer is one of the opening acts. (The other being Mat Kearney, who I would also not object to seeing live.)

WHAT ARE THE ODDS?

Also, they are not passing through any part of Minnesota. Because that is how my luck runs with the music I REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY want to see.

Figures.

When I found out this tour combination was happening, and subsequently not happening here, Bob posed the question of a possible near-by show that could result in a road-trip.

They’re playing Denver on September 19th.

DUDE.

There is a piece of me that desperately wants to make that happen. But the piece of me that would more than likely have a complete and utter mental meltdown at the prospect of road-tripping anywhere for anything, not to mention the stress of attending a concert in a foreign place…that wins out over desperation any day. So none of that will be happening.

Such is life.

I’ll just keep hitting play in iTunes and giggle every time I look at my Last.fm stats, regardless of where the numbers lie.

  1. Sara.

You get off your ass and come to Denver September 19th.

We will be in our new townhome on the 15th. We will have an extra bedroom. We can get an air mattress or something.

We can make this happen at zero cost for your lodging.

    Your move.

  2. Sara,
What Jenn said! I was thinking exactly that.
Besides, you know you want to go to CO, and see those mountains.
It could be a fun trip. A good excuse for Bob to take some vacation time off of work…

Something to say?
