We’re supposed to get the keys to our house today.
In theory.
I say, “In theory,” because our agent got the keys from the selling agent, went to check things out and they didn’t work. He promised he’d get the correct keys to her today.
We’re only slightly holding our breath on that because he’s promised “today” several times before on things and it was never “today.”
So we’ll see.
We just need to make sure we have those bloody keys in hand by 9AM tomorrow because the city is going to be at the house to turn the water back on and somebody needs to be there to make sure it works. Because apparently the water was shut off and nobody informed us—the buyers. Until Bob called to get the account put in our name today.
But utilities are scheduled, carpet cleaning is scheduled for Thursday or Friday depending on when the guy has a proper opening, and we’re moving into our house this weekend.
