That vague and distant void…

Hurtling towards the end of October and Week 83?…84?

We turned off the air conditioning for the last time on October 10th and turned on the furnace for the first time on October 25th. Air conditioning to furnace in two weeks. My sinuses are already protesting the dry air in the mornings—cruddy and inflamed and…colorful. FNEH.

I had things planned to write but it’s four-something in the morning and sleep ain’t happening and fuck if I know what those planned things were.

A.) We are just under a month until the Final Fantasy XIV expansion hits and The Bobs(TM) are excited.

2.) It has been brought to my attention that Tears For Fears has released new music. Roland and Curt are looking a little old and that just makes me feel old. But they still sound good.

D.) I burned my finger (or several) in a really stupid way. (Hey, don’t touch the metal you just took out of the oven, dumbass.) It didn’t require medical attention, but I’ve never had so much pain from a burn before and had to keep it largely immobile for a couple days to prevent myself from inflicting more pain. It didn’t blister nearly as bad as it initially looked like it would and mostly just felt calloused for a good week. Now the damaged skin has bubbled and peeled off (GAG) and there is smooth skin in its place…with some rough edges.

Because I AM GOOD AT THINGS.

The boys seem a bit perplexed to be performing for a life-sized tube of peppermint oil.

But they’ll still bring in the Last.fm stats.
