Just keeps spinning round…

April. Apparently. We woke up to snow this morning and everything covered in white. By lunchtime it was over and melted and the sun was trying to shine. This has been the weirdest winter season we’ve had that I can remember. Technology is making me crabby. No, no. More than usual. …) Feedly doesn’t show ALT text for images that don’t load in an RSS feed. So there is no indication that there should be… Keep reading…Just keeps spinning round…

Up for grabs…

March. Okay. It is currently sixty-seven degrees outside. The rest of the week is going to be in the forties, but today I turned the furnace off and opened the windows. Because fresh air. …) We bought a rice cooker. We’ve only used it once, but it was a rousing success, which is unheard of in most first attempt cooking ventures for me. That much was a given. The results were really not all that surprising—they rarely are—and it was very heavy on The Killers followed mostly by the Wicked White soundtrack. Fall Out Boy, Matchbox Twenty, and Semisonic all put out… Keep reading…A Year in Review…2023…the Music…

Bathing in light…

December. To that I say, finally and how because this year has felt both like an endless slog and a smear of blink and you’ll miss it. More so than usual at least. A few years ago (when exactly, I do not remember) finding the motivation to put up the Christmas tree did not happen until very late in the season (when exactly, I do not remember) and even then, I really DID NOT feel… Keep reading…Bathing in light…
