Don’t overthink it…

I keep trying to start posts and then I get about three lines in and…ech. Delete. Come back later. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. We are in the middle of a four-day weekend. Bob’s company started closing for MLK Day in recent years and he took Tuesday off to use up some time. It’s nice to have a long weekend when we’re not sick since our Christmas vacation was tainted. Plague Update: Still coughing three weeks later…. Keep reading…Don’t overthink it…

Made it through…

January. 2024. The Bobs are still recovering from A Very Covid Christmas. Or rather Bob is at about 99% and I’m still lingering around 75%. We don’t know where we caught it from (considering we barely leave the house), but recent information claims incubation is only two or three days so we can pretty much narrow it down to our routine trips to Target and Costco or the grocery store, or the day Bob went… Keep reading…Made it through…

A Year in Review…2023…

Greetings from the Plague Lands. Two people who barely leave the house finally caught fucking Covid two days before Christmas. I cannot taste or smell anything. My whole back hurts. The humidity was still low when we flipped the switch, but it was 85 degrees outside and that was going to… Keep reading…Just moments moving sideways…

A matter of time…

Twice in the past month I have told two different people I don’t know that my brother died and I realized that was the first time I’ve uttered those words out loud to a person not in my isolated circle. And hoo boy, while… Keep reading…A matter of time…

Wait a little bit longer…

February. Week 100. I am so goddamn tired. After a suspiciously long lull in the Bad! News! Every! Where! when it comes to our limited bubble (because fuck the world at large), everything hits in a matter of a week. But even in the age of INFORMATION OVERLOAD, details are scarce, because who needs to know what’s ACTUALLY going on? FNEH. I finally went in for my annual physical Here’s a List of Problems I… Keep reading…Wait a little bit longer…
