As of noon today, August 12th, 2011…we officially OWN our house.
It took three months and a pain in the ass mystery leak to get here, but we did it. We closed on our house.
It only took about an hour to get through everything. We didn’t officially meet the sellers (but we saw them in the lobby). They closed in a different office because they both had the flu. Oh how lovely.
After all was said and done, Bob and I went out to lunch to celebrate and then came home to crash. Adrenaline rush: OVER.
I cleaned my kitchen and baked lemon bars.
Now it’s the weekend and we’re going to be lazy sloths in OUR house as much as possible.
