It never fucking ends…
I…don’t want to talk about it.
We’re a month out from the election and I have absolutely zero faith anything good will come out of it no matter which way it goes (Oh, but we all know how it’s going to go.)
All I know is that I am sitting at critical mass over here and there ain’t much keeping me from imploding completely when it comes to the festering, fiery, absolute fucking nightmare this fucking country has become.
*ahem*
Anyway…
Way back in the before times, Bob made a comment to me, “I need a haircut, but what if I just…didn’t…?”
And then approximately two weeks later (seriously) the whole fucking world imploded and shut down. And so neither of us has had a haircut since……January? And as of right now, we’re both of the mindset to see how long we can go until one of us caves.
I think my hair is currently the longest it’s ever been, but I’m not entirely sure because I just don’t remember anything anymore.
But it’s currently long enough for a half-assed braid crown and Bob thinks it’s cute and likes to tell me so.
I don’t bother with bobby pins and just use a few snap barrettes because who wants to fish bobby pins out of their hair…ever? I think the style goes well with all my gray hair. Also the morning after looks like a bad crimp job from the early 90’s and if I brush it, it nearly doubles in size.
Also.
Don’t over-pluck your eyebrows in your twenties. They stop growing back by your forties. My mother warned me this would happen. I did not heed her warnings.
LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER. Or at least mine. She’s a good one.
