Here today, forgot tomorrow…

July.

We all know how I feel about July.

I have tried a dozen times to write something here and every time I open up a draft my brain just says, Yeah no. GFY.

Then when I did write something, I deleted it. Because I can.

The cooling fan I keep under my laptop has suddenly taken to randomly rattling very loudly and then stopping just as sudden. Then it stopped rattling, but it was making a weird moaning/humming noise. I might have to smash it with a hammer if it keeps this up. Or I’ll buy a new one. I should probably just buy a new one.

In the meantime, I’ll just be over here hanging out with my insomnia buddy. She has been picking the music we listen to when we’re not sleeping. She’s a big fan of dancing to music videos.

When I generated the Last.fm stats for May, I thought some of the numbers seemed kind of low, but figured I was miscalculating how much I listened to on my computer versus on my phone and in the car. Then I went to look something up and realized that there were no numbers recorded for two full weeks. Last.fm was closed at some point and not tracking anything and anytime this happens it grates on me far more than it has any right to. But apparently despite missing the entire first week of the month of June, I racked up a whole lot more plays than I expected to. It was a very Wicked White soundtrack kind of month.

Somebody’s apparently been listening to it without me.
