But at least August is fucking over.
August sucked extra hard this year.

A few weeks back, Bob came home from work (first in a long time that he had to actually go into the office) and stated, “I feel like we need an owlbear around here.”

S: To be fair, you did say we needed an owl bear. What was I supposed to do?
R: To be fair, I fully expected this to happen when I said it.

Bob finished his first play through of Baldur’s Gate 3 with…a lot of hours played. He thoroughly enjoyed playing and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him play. He’s already started a new game because he had so much fun the first time around. When you finish a very long play through and the credits roll, you can’t wait to do it all again to see what different choices produce, it’s a sign of a good game. It’s really well written, the voice acting is great, there is a healthy mix of serious and ridiculous and plenty in between.
I am a big fan of all the critters you can talk to.
Especially the owlbear cub.
