We’re halfway into March.
I’m so fucking tired. We’re hurtling headfirst into a global pandemic, it’s an election year. I won’t even bother asking what else could make shit terrible, because the world will let me know in the next five minutes anyway.
Ech.
I was reading something that referenced a song by The Killers and it got me thinking about the handful of songs they have on the Drive List and then I fell down a hole of Killers music and…the numbers speak for themselves. One thing I have learned from Youtube comments: people fucking love this band, and they REALLY FUCKING LOVE Brandon Flowers. And I have to correct myself every time because my brain wants to call him Brendon Flowers because Panic! At the Disco is still invading my brain space. And apparently it’s just been a Bands From Las Vegas kind of time period in my life.
Anyway.
Emerson Mouse has been wedging himself into tight spaces all over the house as of late. And as dumb as it is to be playing hide and seek with a fuzzy pink rodent (and his less fuzzy human co-conspirator), it’s given me many moments of amusement in between watching the world burn to the ground.
