Not what I was saying…

I have 24 posts sitting in drafts right now. I think I need to go back to them and either post them or purge them. Because two dozen drafts is a bit excessive. Even for me. I’ve been struggling a lot with writing lately. Both here and with my writing. I always differentiate between the two. As a writer I probably shouldn’t. Writing is writing, but to me, blogging and writing are two different things…. Keep reading…Not what I was saying…

Chances Are…

My senior year of high school I started writing a story I eventually titled Chances Are. I put a lot of work into planning it, but I didn’t make too much progress on the actual writing. Then I graduated from high school, quit my job at Menards, and spent five months on a hiatus from productivity. In those fives months, I worked on that story. I wrote. I planned. One of those story lines that is so ridiculous I would never let… Keep reading…Guess I needed something new…

Dreamweaver…part two…

I hate when dreams make sense. There’s this bizarre phenomenon that occurs sometimes wherein I dream about one of my story projects as the story is happening and it’s all very real. It doesn’t usually have the same cracked-out elements of a typical dream, things make sense. While things tend to be slightly different than how they’re being written in reality, they play out in the dream in a way that isn’t all that unfathomable…. Keep reading…Dreamweaver…part two…

How do you always seem to know just when to call?

I had something planned to write about. And then I lost it. This is nothing new. It’s just obnoxious. I’ve been spending some quality time getting to know my new(ish) Home Design program. This is my 3D Home Architect replacement, since that one is not compatible with Windows 7. I actually got this program shortly after I got my new computer, I just haven’t really used it since then. But with a new story in… Keep reading…How do you always seem to know just when to call?
