It’s only just begun…

Christmas is over. Bob still has a week of vacation. I have no idea what day it is. Our sleep schedule is hosed. We’ve eaten too many cookies. Adulthood: acting like lazy teenagers because we can. In between the pesky responsibility of being an adult. But hey…vacation. Christmas. Two days of familial social obligations. For two staunch introverts that’s a whole lot of human interaction. The day after we slept late and then took a… Keep reading…It’s only just begun…

Right About Now…

Last week temperatures were in the 60’s and low 70’s with low humidity. The A/C was off and the windows were open and it was hoodie weather and it was awesome. This week the temperatures are back up in the high 80’s, hitting 90, and the humidity is thicker than thick. Happy September, kids. Ugh. Anyway. She seemed very thorough and actually poked and prodded at the problems I brought up, giving me a point or two of actual new information. She’s my age…possibly younger than me…but I think I’ll give her another shot the… Keep reading…There’s gotta be stars behind those clouds…

It’s interesting to me how things have changed in the almost two decades since I was in school. I grew up in a district that was ALWAYS the last to close school for anything. Snow had to be deep enough on the roads that buses could literally not get through. And if it was cold, the only… Keep reading…Too many nights…

I’ve been Oh Hell No…

I can never seem to spell San Francisco correctly on the first try. At least not without staring at it for several, perplexing moments because it never looks like an actual word. Today’s Friday right? I never know what the hell day it is without checking a calendar several times a day. It’s been a really bad week for keeping track of that. It’s been…a week…this week. Meaning: not a good one in terms of… Keep reading…I’ve been Oh Hell No…
