Avoid the Headlines…

Because seriously. … They finally showed up about dinnertime on Sunday to plow our driveway. After it was half melted. Whatever. … It’s snowing. Or it was last I looked out the window. Big, flurrying snowflakes. But it’s too warm for it to accumulate, so at least there’s that. … The giant, messy, two-plus-year road construction project outside our front door has picked up again for the season and they’re going to start tearing out… Keep reading…Avoid the Headlines…

Can’t remember a warm December…

…wait… It’s been raining…a lot…so…warm December it is. Minnesota. Rain. December. What. Anyway. No. Wait. I just looked out the window and it’s snowing. Joy. We took my ring in for its regular six-month inspection and they found a loose stone, so they had to send it out for repair. I am without my wedding ring for over two weeks. The gears are grinding on an idea that has been around for quite some time, but has gone through several incarnations—different characters,… Keep reading…Trying to figure out what to do…

There’s gotta be stars behind those clouds…

1.) There are things I want to write but don’t have the mental capacity to put the words down. 2.) I survived an appointment with a new doctor. (A female physician’s assistant…who the hell am I?) She seemed very thorough and actually poked and prodded at the problems I brought up, giving me a point or two of actual new information. She’s my age…possibly younger than me…but I think I’ll give her another shot the… Keep reading…There’s gotta be stars behind those clouds…
