At a recent doctor appointment, Bob went with me and accompanied me into the actual appointment. The tech asked, “Who’s this you’re bringing with you?” I told her he was my husband. I think nine out of ten “follows” I get on Twitter are spam accounts. The tenth is usually some random business with an auto-follow bot running scripts on keywords that I happened to use in a tweet. Keywords that, in the context of my tweet, have absolutely nothing to do with their business. Every time I write about writing, I spend a ridiculous amount of time reading and rereading the post looking for reasons not to post it. I start and stop and tab out to another website, or another program entirely, and wait another day or two before reading the post again. It’s a very choppy, ADHD-esque process.
