Here come the rising tide…

We had a record breaking four days straight of eighty-some degree weather. Today it’s forty degrees colder with rain and tomorrow we’re supposed to get anywhere between two and six inches of snow. We’ve been under a Red Flag fire weather watch for most of the week, but I think that has been negated for the time being with this rain. Gonna be opposition…

Road construction started on our access road on Monday. So far it looks like they’ve just demolished the retaining wall marking the property line between our development and city property. Our house has felt a fair amount of shaking and vibrating from it. I can’t imagine what it’s like for the houses that are right next to it. ECH. Because seriously. … They finally showed up about dinnertime on Sunday to plow our driveway. After it was half melted. Whatever. … It’s snowing. Or it was last I looked out the window. Big, flurrying snowflakes. In a winter mood…

April. We ended up getting somewhere around six inches of snow. Which is really just a guess by looking at the footprints in our driveway from the snow removal guys who walked through it.
