Countdown…

We have forty-five days to closing. Forty-five days until the house is OURS. Bob and I are both getting restless and incredibly excited. This last month and a half is going to be both the longest and shortest six weeks of our lives. We had our professional inspection this week. …pation… Yesterday Bob and I met with our realtor at our future house to do our own “inspection” and finalize some paper work and other things. As we wandered through, I snapped some pictures and took in the sights, imagining what it will be like to live there in just under two months. I can’t wait to start experimenting in the kitchen. Saturday we went out and looked at four different houses. Two of which we really liked. One we made an offer on……after much debate on which one best suited our needs, required less work, et al. Monday they came back with a counter offer. We countered their counter offer. And now we’re waiting to see what they say about our counter-counter offer.
