Don’t run away this time…

I’ve been trying to muster up a blog post for…awhile…and…I got nothin’. I have a knot on my forehead from smashing into the edge of the freezer while putting groceries away. Because I am just that talented. I had no idea I touched my forehead so much over the course of a day until I had a bruise to hit EVERY. DAMN. TIME. Ow. In the meantime… Andy Grammer released a new song with a… Keep reading…Don’t run away this time…

Insomnia. Sleep is for the weak. I got a call today (yesterday…whatever) confirming my psychiatrist appointment. Eleven days in advance. Close enough. At least I know they still have an appointment scheduled for me. Since I scheduled the appointment, I’ve had a strong feeling in my gut that something is going to go wrong by the time the appointment rolls around and I’ll be back to square one. It’s not just pessimistic tendencies at work… Keep reading…Keep sailing on…

I don’t know exactly when I made the switch to third-person narrative. It was sometime after I finished my grand masterpiece, but that’s about all the memory I… Keep reading…This could last forever…

Chasing fault lines…

I’m not entirely sure why this song struck me as their song, but I was listening to Matchbox Twenty’s North album yesterday whilst writing and when Our Song came on it caught my attention. So I backed it up and actually paid attention to the lyrics. They are rather fitting to the situation. And then I proceeded to listen to it about twenty times in a… Keep reading…Chasing fault lines…

We don’t need another life…

At the beginning of the year, Nine Days randomly followed me on Twitter announcing their comeback. (And I reminisced the adorableness of John Hampson.) Some time later they launched a Pledge Music campaign (Kickstarter for music) to fund and support their new album. (Let’s not get into the ridiculous number of music projects I’ve pledged money to in the last six months. So many music makers I love are on this path and…GAH…I am weak….
