I have a number of posts sitting in drafts right now, unfinished and unposted. I can’t seem to complete them for one reason or another. Up…

I just finished a play-through of Dragon Age II. While making some drastically different choices, the outcome was pretty much the same as the last play-through. Quite unlike the first game. Bioware…you could have done better with that. I should be heading to bed. It’s two in the morning. But I’m not quite feeling tired enough to sleep just yet. The great mystery of who changed the locks was solved early this morning. As it turns out it was the mortgage company who ordered the locks to be changed. Who is apparently different than the selling bank in charge of the short sale…bwuh? I only pretend to understand these things. Whoop–there it is…

The wrench. It has been thrown. Like I said, we were supposed to get the keys today—in theory. But when our agent went to check things out, the keys didn’t work. They key in the lockbox on the door for showing agents did not work. Somebody changed the locks. Apparently sometimes in cases of a short sale, the bank involved gets a little…overzealous? uppity? fucking stupid?…and jumps the gun on changing the locks in preparation… Keep reading…Whoop–there it is…

We’re supposed to get the keys to our house today. In theory. I say, “In theory,” because our agent got the keys from the selling agent, went to check things out and they didn’t work.
