Thunderheads were forming…

Do you remember fashion plates? I never had them, and I don’t remember who did, but I remember somebody had them when I was a kid. (Cousins maybe?) They popped into my head recently as a certain gremlin muse was Frankenstein-ing another batch of ideas together. I had the thought that cutting parts out of multiple story ideas and sticking them together to make something else reminded me of fashion plates—mix and match the different… Keep reading…Thunderheads were forming…

Just setting a trap…

I still don’t like February. The last post was supposed to be the lead-in to the monthly Last.fm stats, but it turned in a direction I didn’t anticipate and dumping meaningless numbers at the end of it just felt stupid. (Yes, I know there are a multitude of reasons why WP… Keep reading…Always on the hunt…

Plus the unit right next door had a crew out just days ago cleaning a dam off their roof. We’re finally getting into a forecasted long stretch of above-freezing temperatures and all that melting can only lead to one place. Right on schedule yesterday afternoon, water started running out of the… Keep reading…5318008…
